But it's not a huge issue and it doesn't exactly affect your status. It can be
annoying, but truthfully, most people don't look at other people's stats -
they're more likely to charge straight to the gallery

Giving direct URL in reports or deletion complaints is quite easy. If you are
viewing any kind of gallery item (or any webpage for that matter), you will have
noticed that there is an address for that page (which we call a URL) and all you
have to do is copy and paste it into whatever you're posting that to.
I'll show you a diagram to help since I know I'm bad at explaining
things.
I agree with what Choe has said. Also, you may have gone slightly overboard with
the smart blur, since the quality of the scan isn't so great in some areas.
Regarding BotChii, I don't know how many times members have questioned this, but
"it" is not a member, but a bot that sends automated messages to
members. When a moderator finds something that needs to be deleted, and deletes
it, BotChii sends the message to you to notify you that if has been
deleted.
If you read the PMs from BotChii carefully, there will be a reason why your
scans have been deleted. Usually the mod who deleted them will leave a message
as well (at the bottom of the PM, there should be something like "message
from the moderator") which is the exact reason why the scans were
deleted.
If you still can't figure out why your scans were deleted after that, then quote
the two PMs that BotChii has sent you on this thread, so we can tell you what
was exactly wrong.
PS - with regards to deletion of scans and any kind of submissions we have here,
the number of favs and comments do not matter. If we find that it is unsuitable,
or that we have a better scan etc. then we have the full right to remove it from
the gallery.
PPS - I have just looked at your first scan in full and I think the reason for
it's deletion was the quality. The quality of the scan is quite bad so that if
anyone wanted to make a wallpaper using it, they would have heck of a lot of
trouble cleaning it. You have to bear in mind that the main purpose of the scans
section is for people to make wallpapers and other types of artwork using them.
I know how you feel misa! I experienced that A LOT this year, when I lived in a
hall of residence.
One guy (3 doors down from me) would blast out the music from morning to night.
It's not bad, but it IS bad when it's the same song for the millionth
time!
The other one I really hated, but couldn't do anything about, was the bagpipe
festival that went on for 4 days. It was from a park some distance away, but you
know bagpipes XO XO XO
Music at night - now that's a real problem and I say call sound control and
measure the decibels. Then confiscate all their party equipment :P
It's been great to have IM around. It's been a long time when I look back now.

It's really easy to block images from Minitokyo on Firefox because when you make
a right-click, there's an option that says "Block images from... blah
blah" You can misclick it when you meant Properties or something else. It's
harder on IE since it has to be done manually in Internet Options.
@Ephemeral-Garden: To me, it looks like you might have blocked out images from
Minitokyo. You can do it easily by miss-clicking something on Firefox. This
theory is supported by the fact that you can view the Paypal image but nothing
from MT. I'm not sure if you've tried this yet, but give it a go:
Tools > Options > Content > Exceptions (for Images - this would be the
second "Exceptions" button)
Here, a new popup window will show. See if you can find something like http://images.minitokyo.net/ If it is
there, remove it.
If this is not the case then (which I doubt), then we may need to have a look at
it further.

If you get that message, then you might be forgetting something or it's a bug.

Your FDQ returns after 24 hours of usage therefore it may not have been 24 hours
before you came online again. If you still have problems, then we might need to
check what might be going on.

There shouldn't be any special characters in names. It will screw up the domains
and the whole user system and it shouldn't work in the first place (I hope so!).

using the Purge All button.

6 months ago. BotChii messages are automated and it's actually not that you
didn't check carefully, someone just submitted another one without the
unnecessary parts of the disc cover.
This other one has a slightly better quality and is a smidge larger so I'm
assuming that's why yours was deleted. The mod who deleted it might have just
selected the wrong BotChii message to send (as it happens every now and then).
From my point of view, I'd say it was deleted for poor quality. The scan has
quite a poor quality. It's blurry in simple terms. The bg itself is also quite
simple. The water is just simple filter work and the perspective is also at an
odd angle so that needs to be looked at further. Also, the reflection has been
filtered in such a way that does not fit with the rest of the water ripple
shape. There has been some heavy smudging in places which make the wallpaper
messy overall.
You seem to have understood what was going on. Please note that mature content
are strictly not allowed in MiniTokyo. For more information on this, go to Deletions

Regarding BotChii, I don't know how many times members have questioned this, but "it" is not a member, but a bot that sends automated messages to members. When a moderator finds something that needs to be deleted, and deletes it, BotChii sends the message to you to notify you that if has been deleted.
